Shenoy Brothers Reclaim the Spotlight
Share
The Men’s Doubles draw featured some of the strongest combinations of the season — but when it came to delivering on the biggest stage, the Shenoy brothers once again proved their pedigree.
Quarterfinals: Early Warnings
The opening rounds delivered multiple tests.
Top seeds Shaik Shafi & Bharadwaj Chowdary (IQVIA) were pushed hard by Hiteshwar Reddy (Healthworksai) and Tarun Teja (O9 Solutions) before surviving a three-set battle
21–12, 18–21, 21–11.
Elsewhere, Hareen Talluri (ICICI Bank) and Amarnath Bansethi (Rockwell Automation) edged past Shashank Kumar & Ankit Semwal (Cognizant) in another tight contest
21–19, 20–21, 21–17.
Semifinals: Momentum Shifts
In the semifinals, Vivek Kumar (Brigade Group) and Harsha Kumar (LSEG) produced a dominant display, defeating the top-seeded IQVIA pair 21–10, 21–16.
The Shenoy brothers — Govardhan (SAP) and Sukhesh (Adobe) — faced early resistance from Hareen and Amarnath but responded emphatically, turning the match around after dropping the first set
20–21, 21–14, 21–6.
Final: Experience Prevails
The final brought together two well-balanced partnerships. With rallies extending and margins tightening, the Shenoys leaned on experience and discipline to close out the match in straight sets
21–18, 21–19.
A clinical finish, and another chapter added to one of the most consistent doubles partnerships on the Badiwars circuit.
