🏆 Women’s Doubles: Uzma & Tejasvi Rise Above the Field
The Women’s Doubles draw at the Valentine’s Corporate Challenge had no shortage of pedigree — but when the dust settled, it was Uzma Fatima (Target) and Tejasvi B (Titan) who stood tallest.
Semifinals
Uzma and Tejasvi made a commanding statement in the semifinals, brushing aside Kristina Bordoloi & Debanjana Santra (SAP) 21–6, 21–16, setting the tone early with aggressive front-court pressure and quick interceptions.
Awaiting them in the final were the experienced pairing of Sameena Ajeeth (Genpact) and Shruthi Raveendran (HPE) — a duo well known for thriving in big-match situations.
Final: Control Under Pressure
The championship match delivered intensity early, with long rallies and narrow margins in the opening game. Uzma and Tejasvi edged the first set 21–18, before shifting gears decisively in the second.
The second set belonged entirely to the Target–Titan combination, as they closed out the final 21–8, sealing the Women’s Doubles title with authority.
A performance built on composure, court awareness, and ruthless execution when it mattered most.
