The Kreeda Open marked the third ranking tournament of the season and the first feather shuttle event of Badiwars 4.0, with Devika’s run standing out for its clarity of execution and control under pressure.
A Dominant March to the Final
Devika began her campaign in the quarterfinals, where she faced Pakhi Srivastava (Atlassian). From the opening rally, the Dell shuttler dictated the pace, closing out the match comfortably 21–9, 21–7.
In the semifinals, Devika came up against Mayuri Kharde (Allen Digital). Continuing her strong form, she combined consistency with timely aggression to secure a straight-games win 21–6, 21–19, booking her place in the final.
Commanding Finish at Kreeda
The final saw Devika face Chythra S (RDPR), who had earlier caused an upset by defeating top seed Garima Pandey. Devika, however, showed no signs of hesitation. She controlled rallies from the outset, maintaining pressure and denying her opponent any sustained momentum to claim the title 21–9, 21–15.
A Statement Win for Dell Technologies
Devika Chandran’s Women’s Singles triumph at the Kreeda Open added another milestone to Dell Technologies’ Badiwars 4.0 campaign, following their strong performances earlier in the season.
