Dell Technologies Finish Rajyotsava Cup with Podium Presence in 35+ Men’s Doubles

The Rajyotsava Cup, Tournament 8 of the Badiwars 4.0 Corporate Badminton Championship, held on November 1 at Kreeda, Sarjapur, marked the final ranking event of the season and proved to be a demanding outing for Dell Technologies across doubles and 35+ categories.

While Dell faced early exits in several draws, the team closed the tournament with a podium finish in 35+ Men’s Doubles, reinforcing their presence till the final stages of the season.

Men’s Doubles: Early Exits Against Strong Opposition

Dell had two pairs competing in the Men’s Doubles category, both exiting in the Round of 16 against in-form opposition.

Aravind Srinivasan & Ganapathi Nanjappa were involved in a tightly contested match but narrowly lost to Tarun Kumar Penta (Microchip) and Sandeep Kumar (Qualcomm) 18–21, 20–22.

Bharath Simha & Sukesh Nayak faced a strong pairing in Dipanjan Saha (SAP) and Harsha Kumar (LSEG), exiting in straight games 12–21, 8–21.

Mixed Doubles: Quarterfinal Finish

In Mixed Doubles, Aravind Srinivasan & Minal Jaiswal progressed to the Round of 8 before bowing out to Arun Balaraman & Sakshi Nautiyal (GSK) 18–21, 11–21.

35+ Men’s Singles: Opening-Round Exit

Dell’s campaign in 35+ Men’s Singles saw Sunil Kumar S exit in the opening round after a straight-games loss to Sudhip Mohan (Accenture) 12–21, 12–21.

35+ Men’s Doubles: Podium Finish to Close the Season

The standout result for Dell at the Rajyotsava Cup came in the 35+ Men’s Doubles category.

Ganapathi Nanjappa & Sunil Kumar S produced a resilient quarterfinal performance, staging a comeback to defeat Sreeram Muthuraman & Sreedeep Nair (Cisco) 19–21, 23–21, 21–11.

Bharath Simha & Sukesh Nayak exited in the quarterfinals against Abhilash Balasubramanian (Deloitte) and Sandeep Mohandas (Voya India) 14–21, 7–21.

In the semifinals, Ganapathi Nanjappa & Sunil Kumar S faced top-seeded Ritwik Venkatesh (Oracle) and Sudhip Mohan (Accenture), exiting 12–21, 15–21 to finish on the podium at the season-ending event.

Rajyotsava Cup brought the Badiwars 4.0 ranking season to a close. While podium finishes were hard-fought across the circuit, Dell Technologies ended the campaign with a semifinal podium at the final event, rounding off a season defined by depth, participation, and strong performances earlier in the year.
